
Doesn't seem to be much of a beach here! Located practically beneath the massive Jamestown Bridge, the closest view would be from the bridge itself but that would be somewhat impractical! The view above was taken from the east bank from Riptide Drive; the photo below was taken from Seaside Drive on Conanicut Island.

Constructed in 1898, this is another sparkplug lighthouse. It became obsolete when the first Jamestown Bridge was built in 1940 and fell into disrepair. However, recent renovations by the Friends of Plum Beach Lighthouse have restored it to its former glory.
